It is important to be aware before booking with us that we exercise an unusual approach to certain services which you might normally expect to be included in the standard fee.
There are several reasons for this. It enables us to keep the rent low and you to manage the cost of your holiday. It encourages minimal consumption of fuel and reduces waste.
Electricity is metered and paid according to consumption at the end encouraging you to be aware of light and heat. Sheets and duvets are extra so you can bring your own favourites to reduce your costs or order exactly what is required. Cleaning is also an optional extra, being a contribution of less than half the actual cost. Opting for it takes the pressure off the end of your holiday where otherwise we would expect the cottage to be left as found.
Cots and high chairs are free
Catering/cooking assistance can be arranged through the office.
Local grocery delivery information can be provided by the office.
Dogs and cats are welcome at £28 each per week/weekend (whatever age, size or breed!) but only if they are kept off unprotected furniture (see condition 8 of booking conditions). Please bring blankets/beds and bowls and you should opt for the cleaning service.
During this summer (2020) blankets have been removed and there is one pillow per head space
Bed provided or made up with duvets is £16.00 per bed
Bath towels are £3.00 each
Cleaning Pack. Includes – 2x loo roll, 1x washing up liquid, 1x tea towel and 1x soap £10.00
Cleaning during your stay can be arranged at a cost of £12.00 per hour
End of Stay Cleaning is only a contribution towards the cost of cleaning and unless you leave the house as well as you found it, you are encouraged to opt for this extra (see prices per cottage overleaf)
