A cosy old thatched cottage dating from the smuggling era and named after the fisherman William Roberts who lived here with his cat at the turn of the last century. It was finely restored by Bill Harbour who appeared one night in the 1960s. His symbol, a dovetail joint, can be found stamped on the salvaged Burmese teak driftwood which he used for the windows, front door, staircase and floors. It has a large sunny garden just beside The South West Coast Path above Boat Cove,  looking towards the distant Lizard Peninsula.
