Trenalls Cottage
An
attractive and cosy thatched cottage, possibly medieval, about four
minutes from the sea on foot. Originally a freestanding farm dwelling,
the cottage was annexed to Trenalls House in the Edwardian period and
served as accommodation for staff. They make a very unusual juxtaposition
and the cottage shares the house’s chimney stack allowing the
open fire to be lit safely under a thatched roof.
It has two bedrooms comprising a double and a triple;
kitchen; bathroom; dining room and sitting room with open fire and
upright piano. The front has a sunny and sheltered lawn and the back
of the cottage opens onto a courtyard with unconverted barns containing
tools, wood and a washing machine and drier. Car parking for up to
two cars. (Equipped
for five people)
